There are many coding standards available, all designed to improve code quality by restricting the use of language and constructs most likely to cause problems. The ideal selection for any particular project will depend on several factors including regional preference, sector preference, and the project focus – functional safety, cybersecurity or a combination of both.  The following coding standards list is non-exhaustive.
