WEBINAR ON-DEMAND
Accomplishing the Verification Objectives in the Software Lifecycle: An ISO 26262 Perspective

This webinar is a part of webinar series by Skills Development & Communication Work Group of IESA Automotive Core Initiative Group.

Functional safety is an unavoidable paradigm in automotive electrical and electronic system development. Performing the lifecycle activities and establishing the confidence with required work products in each lifecycle stage is a challenge. In this webinar we are focusing on verification objectives in software lifecycle process and how do we do it with automated and integrated tools.

Verification activities start for software lifecycle right from the planning stage and flow through the requirements, design, implementation and integration into the hardware. Upon successful completion of the verification activities, we could generate the required work products for confirmation measures. The correctness, sufficiency, and adequacy of the work product depend on verification activities performed.

Automated tools are a way to ensure the correctness and adequacy for verification activities to produce the right set of work products. Also, we will discuss the benefits of automated and integrated tools for accomplishing the verification objectives.

The Webinar aims to provide a quick overview on the following:

• Requirements Verification
• Design Verification
• Implementation verification
• Establishing the vertical and horizontal traceability
• Tools & Work products

Key Takeaways:

• Learn about safety lifecycle and activities
• Learn to perform Verification in different lifecycle stages
• Learn about automating the Verification activities
• Learn to develop work products and the content
• Helps to understand the gaps for ISO 26262 certification of your product
