10 Keys to FAA and EASA Certification Success

This LDRA Certification Services (LCS) webinar will examine 10 keys to success, both technical and business related, for DO-178C, DO-254 and ARP 4754A certification applicants.  These keys, utilized on hundreds of product certifications overseen by LCS, range from the definition of realistic company strategies and goals all the way to consistent and transparent development and verification processes, including the systematic production of project lifecycle data. The LCS DER team, led by FAA DER, Todd White, works with both commercial and military managers to ensure that certification schedules and budgets are met at fixed prices. This webinar will provide the “big picture” of FAA and EASA certifications while also framing the technical considerations essential to full DO-178C, DO-254 and ARP 4754A compliance.

Bill StClair, has 35 Years Software and Quality Management, Test and Certification Experience. Committee Member of the SC-205/WG-71 Committee Developing RTCA/DO-178C. Speaker / Presenter - FAA National Software and Airborne Electronic Hardware Conference. Bill is the Director of LDRA Certification Services and Director of Operations, LDRA Technology, Inc.

LCS Team Leader

Todd White is a Systems and Equipment FAA DER with Level A authority on all aircraft systems and equipment, including Aircraft Engines, for both Software and Airborne Electronic Hardware. Todd is an Executive Committee Member of SC-205 / WG-71 (DO-178C / ED-12C). He is also an Executive Committee Member of the NextGen Task Force and has a Leadership Role in the DO-254 Users Group. Todd was recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the RTCA and Eurocae sanctioned Forum on Aeronautical Software providing clarification related to the application of DO-178C and DO-278A. Todd was also recently appointed Supplier Airworthiness Specialist DER at Airbus.
